It’s a go.
Just over a year after owners Sal Lupoli and Fred Schakke unveiled plans to demolish and rebuild the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, the Hampton Planning Board voted unanimously to approve the development Wednesday night.
“A lot of work went into this,” said Jason Bachand, Hampton’s town planner. “I think we’re in a great place right now.”
The complex will include a 208-room hotel, 38,500 square feet of retail and restaurant space, a 52,000-square-foot charitable gaming casino, a 3,500-person entertainment venue and a 732-space parking garage.
The plan also includes 99 luxury condos, projected to be assessed for $1.1 million each by Lupoli Companies.
