So much so that the NCAA basketball powerhouse’s coach, Matt Painter, has implemented a sophisticated personality evaluation to ensure that every recruit has not just the ability — but also the mindset — to excel where the team needs him.

That process is exactly what led West Brighton resident Liam Murphy to Purdue University.

And as Murphy faces his toughest test yet — a situation where he has to fight for every minute of playing time — it’s his character that makes him a good bet to succeed.
