In honor of Veteran’s Day, the Wood River Museum of History will host a screening of two films by Chris Anthony.

The first, “Mission Mt. Mangart,” shows at 5:30 p.m. at The Community Library on Tuesday, Veterans Day. Anthony, a professional skier who wrote, directed, edited and produced the feature-length documentary, will be on hand to present his film.

The filmmaker will return on Wednesday for the world premier of “Friedl,” a documentary about Friedl Pfeifer, who served in the 10th Mountain Division and later went on to help build Aspen as a ski resort. The 5:30 p.m. screening will be followed by a reception with the filmmaker at the museum.
