The MSC Seascape arrived in Galveston on Thursday to kick off MSC Cruises’ first homeporting operation in Texas.
Repositioning from Miami, the 2022-built vessel is now set to operate a year-round schedule departing from the port’s new cruise terminal at Pier 16 .
Starting on Nov. 9, the Seaside-class ship is set to offer a series of seven-night cruises to the Western Caribbean.
Departing from Galveston every Sunday, the vessel’s weeklong itineraries feature visits to destinations in Mexico and Honduras, including Costa Maya, Cozumel and Roatán.
According to MSC , the itineraries departing from Texas onboard the MSC Seascape will be highlighted by expanded food and beverage choices, which will include Southern, Texan and Gulf Coast flavors.
