PHOENIX (AZFamily/AP) — Several flights have been cancelled at Phoenix Sky Harbor on Friday as flight reductions begin during the Federal Aviation Administration‘s unprecedented order to scale back flights nationwide because of the record-long government shutdown.
Sixty flights were cancelled from Phoenix throughout Friday. As of 4:30 a.m., there are around 20 delays, but very of few them are a significant delay.
Arizona’s Family has crews at Sky Harbor on Friday to monitor the flight situation.
