CLINTON COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) - Students in Clinton County participated in a Career Connections Expo Thursday at DeWitt High School.
The Clinton County RESA District held the event to teach students in eighth through tenth grade about various careers they can pursue.
During the event, students saw live demonstrations and engaged with professionals from several industries.
“For our sophomores, it’s a real pivotal point for them in terms of the classes they could take through the rest of high school to better prepare them for whatever’s coming after, be it college, trades, military, and it’s just an important time,” said Pat Jackson and Kelly Williams, career education consultants.
The school district holds the event every year to spark students’ interest in future opportunities.
