The Manitoba government is investing more than $1.3 million to support 23 community revitalization projects in western Manitoba through the From the Ground Up – Safe Healthy Communities for ALL program, Municipal and Northern Relations Minister Glen Simard announced Wednesday.
“Public safety is a top priority of Manitoba’s municipalities and achieving this starts with providing youth with good opportunities in our communities,” Simard said. “We’re proud to support the efforts of Westman communities and municipalities to revitalize and build one Manitoba together. These projects will improve visibility, safety and accessibility, as well as create safe spaces for children, seniors and families to learn and play, paving a path to a bright future.”
