Rapid City Police have arrested two people following a high-risk situation in the Star Village neighborhood. Police say Brian Knutson is accused of firing a gun and now faces charges including aggravated assault and reckless discharge of a firearm.

Officers also arrested 28-year-old Leslie Bartlett after serving search warrants at two homes. Investigators say they found firearms, illegal drugs, and drug paraphernalia. Bartlett is facing charges including possession of a controlled substance and maintaining a place where drugs are kept or used.

Police say there is no ongoing threat to the public, and the investigation is continuing.
