A new face recently made his debut on Twin Cities television screens.

Conor Wight

Reporter Conor Wight shared the news on social media, writing he will be joining the team at WCCO.

Wight comes to Minneapolis after spending five years at CNY Central, the NBC and CBS affiliate based in Syracuse, New York.

While his WCCO bio doesn't reveal much about his new duties among being a reporter, Wight has experience with investigative journalism, becoming one of the founding members of an investigative unit at CNY.

This in turn led to an Edward R. Murrow Award "for his reporting showing a link between lead poisoning in Syracuse's youth and teen gun violence."
