A growing number of flight cancellations are being announced at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport as restrictions implemented by Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) take affect.
The Trump administration announced this week that flight capacity would reduce at 40 major airports as a safety precaution due to the ongoing federal government shutdown, which has left tens of thousands of TSA security agents and air traffic controllers working without pay.
The reduction in capacity would start at 4% on Friday morning, before eventually rising to 10%.
