A band of rain showers arrives Friday evening. Additional rounds of rain will arrive this weekend, ahead of a blast of early wind cold. The First Alert Weather Team has made Monday and Tuesday First Alert Alert Days ; giving you a heads up to the sharp drop in temperatures and gusty winds.

Late evening showers Friday

Patchy drizzle and a few showers are possible before 9 p.m. Showers will become a widespread and steady rain by late evening. The chance of rain peaks between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. across our region. Though, the chance of rain diminishes the farther southeast you head from I-95. Rainfall amounts will remain less than .50".

The forecast dries out and warms up through the day Saturday. The forecast will cooperate with Veterans Day plans.
