HELENA, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Helena authorities say there are no major injuries after a car vs train accident early Friday morning.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. on Aviation Road which is just off Morgan Road.

The train was carrying empty shipping containers and took around 2,000 feet (more than six football fields) to come to a complete stop after impact.
