Feminism is a social movement of change. The Suffragette Movement began in the nineteenth century, to give women voting rights. Only men had voting rights previously. Women were not allowed to vote, because they were considered to be second sex. Individuals belonging to the second sex are deprived of certain rights throughout life. The battle for rights regarding votes was finally over in the twentieth century. The allocation of devices in public transport was segregated clearly as well, but at a later point of time. There were seats for men only. Women had to adjust according to the situation.
