Greater Lansing could see its first accumulating snowfall of the season from this weekend into early next week, the National Weather Forecast said.

"A belt of accumulating snow is favored across a portion of Lower Michigan Saturday night (Nov. 8) into Sunday morning (Nov. 9)," the National Weather Service said on X on Nov. 6. "The location of the belt of accumulations over 2 inches is still in question, but more favored in parts of Mid Michigan including around Lansing."

Snow showers are expected start about 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, and continue through Sunday, Nov. 9. Snow is also forecast for Monday, Nov. 10 and Tuesday, Nov. 11.
