A diversion is in place on the A14 as two crashes have closed the road. Emergency services attended two crashes on Friday afternoon (November 7) on the A14 eastbound near Kentford .

One crash happened between junction 38 and 39, while the other happened between junction 40 and 41. Suffolk Police attended the crash between junction 40 and 41.

This crash involved a car and motorbike at around 2.30pm. The other crash was being dealt with by Cambridgeshire Police.

As a result, the road is closed both ways. National Highways has put a diversion in place.

The diversion in place is:

Exit at J38 and take the A11 northbound.

At Five Ways Roundabout take the fourth exit on to the A1101 towards Bury St Edmunds.
