AUSTIN, Texas — One person was killed in a wreck Friday morning in southwest Austin, officials said.

According to Austin-Travis County EMS, crews responded to a two-vehicle crash at 11431 Bee Cave Road, near Lake Hills Church. Officials said two people were involved in the wreck.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Officials said to expect delays and use alternate routes around the area.
