Incredible scenes show a majestic Aurora Borealis as viewed from a RAF military transporter.
The crew was treated to the spectacle as they flew over Norway on Saturday, Nov. 1.
The A400M Atlas from XXIV Squadron was conducting vital training and operations over the region.
The Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights , is a natural light display in the Earth's Northern Hemisphere caused by charged solar particles interacting with the Earth's atmosphere and magnetic field, producing colorful glowing patterns in the sky.
