VANDENBROEK, Wis. (WFRV) - Due to a hard-to-see location, multiple people reported a structure fire in the Kaukauna area on Thursday night; however, it turned out to be flames in metal crates loaded with wood.
Crews with the Vandenbroek-Kaukauna Fire & Rescue say they were called to the area of the W2000 block of County Road JJ in the Town of Vandenbroek around 8:40 p.m. on November 6 for multiple calls reporting a structure fire.
Dispatch also reported that the callers were unable to clearly see what was burning due to its location behind several buildings.
Crews arrived to find metal crates loaded with wood on fire. Within minutes, flames were put out.
