LISBON, Ohio (WKBN) – In Nikki Meek’s first season as the Lady Devils’ head coach, Lisbon won 7 games as the team saw growth throughout the year.
With 9 letter winners returning, including five starters, expectations have risen as we approach the beginning of the 2025 season.
“We have four seniors who are willing to lead and work hard to reach their goals,” states Meek. “During a summer camp, [we] worked to integrate our large incoming freshman class. Seniors Lylah Brown and Jayden Smyth continue to lead us along with [fellow] seniors Emelia Cook and Maddilynn Klein.”
Brown led the team in scoring (10.2) and rebounding (8.8), a year ago. Smyth averaged 9.4 points, 4.5 boards and 5.4 steals per game – she also set the school record for most steals in a game (16) and in a season (118). Co
