KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Get ready for a rootin', tootin' weekend with the inaugural Honky Tonk Community Market !

The team behind Honky Tonk Thursday — a weekly event where people gather to dance at various venues — is partnering with Barley's to host their first community market.

The market is set for Sunday, Nov. 9, starting at 2 p.m. at the Birdhouse Neighborhood Center in downtown Knoxville. Organizers said the event will feature more than 20 vendors selling art, vintage clothing, Western goods and plenty of other things.

Organizers also said that around a dozen of the vendors are members of the honky tonk community — such as Pioneer House, Backpocket Vintage and Wabi Wear — along with two sellers debuting their vintage brand for the first time at the market, Long Distance Vintage
