SALEM, Ore. - Oregonians can now access their full November SNAP benefits following a federal court order that mandated the Trump Administration to release the necessary funds.

This impacts more than 750,000 residents across the state, with the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) ensuring benefits are available by Friday morning.

Gov. Tina Kotek has criticized the initial withholding of funds as "cruel and unlawful," expressing gratitude to the federal courts and state teams for their swift action.

"Oregonians shouldn’t have to wait for a court order to get the help they qualify for and need," Kotek said.

ODHS collaborated with its EBT vendor to quickly restore benefits, making Oregon one of the first states to respond to the court's decision. This development follows Gov. Kotek
