PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - The Oregon Department of Human Services worked overnight to distribute November SNAP benefits to more than 750,000 Oregonians on Friday morning.

This followed a court order on Thursday from a federal judge in Rhode Island who ordered the Trump administration to fully fund the payments.

But on Friday night, after many Oregon recipients received their November payments throughout the day, the Supreme Court temporarily blocked further issuance of full SNAP benefits, again.

On Friday afternoon, at a Grocery Outlet in northeast Portland, some shoppers confirmed their benefits had arrived.

“We got our benefits today, half of them,” said Melissa, who planned to make eggplant parmesan with her groceries.
