PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Workers for Portland’s Independent Police Review are returning to work after a three-day strike, according to the city.

IPR workers began their strike on Wednesday , pushing for a contract that protects their experience and ensures accountability.

The striking employees will return to work on Monday, Nov. 10, despite not yet reaching a tentative agreement with the city.

Mediation between the city and AFSCME, the union representing the workers, will also continue on Monday.

The striking IPR workers were joined by state and local officials including Oregon Secretary of State Tobias Read and sever Portland City Councilors.
