Two people were hospitalized after a house caught on fire in Montgomery Friday, Nov. 7, authorities said.
At 4:13 a.m., first responders responded to a residence of Opossum Road for a house fire, Montgomery police said.
Upon arrival, officers were ntoified of an elderly resident with mobility isuses still inside the home as it became engulfed in flames, police said. Three officers eventually located the resident and moved them to a safe location, police said.
Two people were transported to local hospitals with smoke inhalation, police said. Multiple fire companies assisted with extinguishing the fire, which remains under investigaiton, police said.
