CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - Local businesses around the Lowcountry are coming together to host a food drive to feed those in need.
Cyn Harlow, the owner and operator of Sun Dazed Cafe, a local coffee shop on wheels, is serving up more than just good vibes and caffeine; she is the driving force behind the local food drive, FEED CHARLESTON.
This initiative supports individuals and families who are uncertain about where their next meal will come from.
"No one, I mean no one, should ever wonder where their next meal is coming from. Let's show up, let's love loud, and let's feed our people," said Harlow.
The goal? Raise 1,000 pounds of non-perishable food items, pet food, and other essential items. As of yesterday, the food drive has collected 300 pounds of items, Harlow stated in a recent In
