A New York Lottery player is running out of time to claim their $1 million dollar prize.
The state lottery has issued a final alert for a second prize-winning Mega Millions ticket purchased in Nassau County last year.
The ticket, which was bought at Cold Cut Express on 507 Dubois Ave. in Valley Stream, was drawn on Dec. 13, 2024.
Though it missed the Mega Ball 16, the ticket matched the five white ball numbers (36-43-52-58-65) and was a $1 million winner.
The deadline to claim this significant win is fast approaching on Dec. 13, 2025. Under New York Lottery rules, winners have exactly one year from the draw date to submit their claim, or the prize is forfeited.
