A stunning pageant contestant has gone viral for performing a death metal song at the Miss World Chile talent competition last week.

Ignacia Fernández , 27, the lead singer for the band ' Decessus, ' was joined onstage by the band's guitarist, Carlos Palma , and unleashed growls and guttural screams while dressed in a gown and sash. Fernández, who represented the Las Condes region in Santiago, received a standing ovation and placed in the Top 20 finalists.
