WASHINGTON — Honda is recalling hundreds of thousands of Civics because some of the cars may have improperly manufactured accessory wheels that could detach.
The recall includes Civics for model years 2016-2021, according to a by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
While 406,290 vehicles are being recalled, the automaker said and may have been improperly manufactured.
Honda is recalling all of the vehicles though so dealers can inspect the wheels and replace the hubs and wheels as necessary, free of charge, NHTSA said.
