FDNY responds to dryer fire at laundromat in Richmond Valley on Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The FDNY fought a dryer fire at a Richmond Valley laundromat Friday morning.

The fire occurred around 11 a.m. at the Page Laundromat at 240 Page Avenue near Amboy Road.

After the FDNY response, a large amount of water remained inside and outside the store. Ceiling tiles and other debris were scattered on the floor in front of a row of dryers.
