BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Baton Rouge man was rebooked into jail on new charges in connection with a deadly crash on Halloween.

Deputies from the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office responded to a crash involving two vehicles at an intersection that left Jacqueline Carmona, 20, dead and another seriously injured.

Hector Munoz, 20, of Baton Rouge, was previously arrested on a charge of underage operating while intoxicated. He now faces new charges of vehicular homicide and first-degree vehicular negligent injuring. According to investigators, Munoz had a BAC of .06g%.

He was rebooked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Thursday, Nov. 6.
