BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office arrested an alleged drug dealer after a multi-month investigation.
According to the sheriff's office, detectives received a tip that Losand Mansion, 30, was allegedly selling "green fentanyl." After conducting surveillance in September and October, agents learned of three locations that Mansion allegedly operated. During the investigation, agents performed a controlled purchase of green fentanyl from Mansion.
Agents were later notified of a fentanyl overdose on Oct. 25. Authorities believe Mansion was the supplier for the lethal dose.
On Oct. 30, law enforcement agencies performed search warrants at a home on Rivanna Lane, a business building on Plank Road, and a home on Cypress Landing Drive in Gonzales.
