BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Happy Friday!
We are watching a little disturbance moving through central Alabama this afternoon. It is producing cloud cover and widely scattered showers.
Showers are pushing to the east and should only last for 15-30 minutes. We aren’t expecting a lot of rain today, so I would not cancel any outdoor plans. My best advice is to monitor the WBRC First Alert Weather app for rain updates.
We will likely deal with a mostly cloudy sky this afternoon with some cloud cover decreasing by the early evening hours. Chances to see rain or an isolated thunderstorm are around 30%.
The Storm Prediction Center is highlighting a Marginal Risk (green) - threat level 1 out of 5- for central Alabama today. I don’t really see a huge threat as moisture remains limited acro
