Fort Erie is taking more time to find the right people to give their two cents on the creation of a secondary plan for the Bridgeburg North area.

At Monday’s council-in-committee meeting, councillors discussed a report on the forming of a focus group that would include residents and landowners, business owners, development representatives and community organizations.

A total of 27 applications were received, but Ward 6 Coun. Ann-Marie Noyes made an amendment to the report to keep the application process open for another month to address the “absence of submissions” from community organizations, as described by staff.
