Earbud bill for motorcyclists, school notification measure for parents signed into law

HARRISBURG — Motorcyclists can legally wear headphones while riding beginning in January under a bill signed into law this week.

Act 43 of 2025 permits motorcyclists to wear headphones, earbuds as well as a helmet fitted with the same capabilities, as long as they comply with existing law on protective equipment.
