State Rep. Burns sponsors 'Made in America' measure for state, U.S. flags

HARRISBURG — The phrase and concept of “Made in America” would be a must for all U.S. and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania flags purchased by the state under a bill introduced this week by state Rep. Frank Burns.

House Bill 2003 would require that the Department of General Services only procure flags produced in the United States with materials sourced domestically, and “Made in America” must be printed on the label.
