NEENAH, Wis. (WBAY) - A former Neenah police officer pleaded no contest to one count of Possession of Child Pornography on Friday.
Owen Halls had previously faced two counts of child pornography possession, and previously pleaded not guilty, but one of those counts was dismissed on Friday as part of the plea agreement.
Halls was one of the Neenah Police Department’s probationary police officers when he was fired in March following an investigation into an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) tip.
Halls has been employed by the Neenah Police Department since March 25, 2024. He would have been on probation until November 26, 2025.
