CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) - A woman connected to the theft of a tip jar from a Canfield restaurant received her sentence in that case Friday.

Lisa Minerd was sentenced to probation and will have to pay restitution and fines, according to court records.

Minerd pleaded guilty to theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, during a pretrial in a Canfield court on Friday.

Court records state that she was sentenced to 12 months of probation after receiving credit for the time that she served in custody. She was also ordered to make restitution of $30 to Bella Napoli, where she stole the tip jar, as well as pay a fine. She was ordered to stay away from the restaurant.

A police report states that Minerd was captured on Bella Napoli’s security footage taking the tip jar off the counter and into a bathroom,
