Oklahoma State is looking for a football coach who can reinvigorate the program, excite deep-pocketed boosters, lure top-shelf recruits and spark long-term success.
Honestly, it’s looking for Mike Gundy 2.0.
Cowboys fans might not want to think in those terms — Gundy’s final months left plenty of folks with a sour taste, after all — but if OSU football landed an updated version of its most successful head coach, orange bloods everywhere should do a happy dance.
