MISSISSAUGA — The director of Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has said there is no basis for criminal charges for OPP officers involved in a July 13 standoff and arrest along the north shore of the St. Lawrence River in South Dundas.
The SIU report was released Friday , detailing the circumstances of the early morning incident, the OPP’s response, and the arrest of 42-year-old man who sustained a midshaft ulnar fracture of his left arm and dog bites to his lower and upper back, and head.
