SCRANTON, Pa. — When your real job is saving lives, surely serving lattes has got to be easier, right?

"This is my first time other than popping a pod in a Keurig. I don't have any coffee machines fancy like this at home," said Sgt. Christopher Hallock, Scranton Police Department.

Members of Scranton's finest stepped in as baristas at Bailey's Cafe in the city's downtown on Friday morning.

"Yeah, it's going to be a crash course, and hopefully I don't mess anybody's drink up too bad," said Sgt. Hallock.

It was all part of a friendly competition with their fellow first responders, city firefighters, and EMTs from Pennsylvania Ambulance, who took turns behind the counter at Bailey's this week.
