Kendrick Lamar is getting comfortable in his throne. The hip-hop artist leads the 2026 Grammy Award nominations with nine nods — after earning both record of the year and song of the year at the most recent ceremony .
Lamar, who won big last year with his monster hit “Not Like Us,” heads into the 2026 award show with momentum from his fifth consecutive studio album, “GNX,” and a new total of 66 career nominations.
On Lamar’s heels is Lady Gaga, with seven nominations, and rising pop singer Sabrina Carpenter, with six nominations across all major categories — tying her up with a handful of artists, including upcoming “Super Bowl” halftime show performer Bad Bunny .
