Celebrity Traitors' contestant Joe Marler has given his verdict on the winner of the hit BBC show in a five word statement. The former England International was pipped to the winning post in Thursday (Nov 6) night's finale which saw Alan Carr walk away with the prize pot. ‌

Fans of the show had been convinced that Faithful Joe would oust the Traitors in their midst after saying he new Alan and Cat Burns were traitors. But his pact with comedian and Ted Lasso star Nick Mohammed came crashing down when he voted for his pal leaving Alan to romp home with the cash. ‌

Joe took to Instagram a day after the final episode aired to say: "What a winner!!! Well played, Alan." ‌
