Trinitarios gang member sentenced in S.I. drug case. Defense cites larger issue

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— According to the district attorney’s office, Yeuris “Menor” Robles was acting on behalf of the Trinitarios criminal organization when he helped oversee a “massive drug-dealing syndicate” on Staten Island.

According to Robles’ attorney, he is a victim of his surroundings, after growing up as a first-generation immigrant in the U.S. with limited resources and a lack of education.
