Get out the big coats and snow shovels for Sunday, folks.
Environment Canada issued a special weather statement Friday saying Hamilton and parts of southern Ontario could possibly get up to 10 centimetres of snow through the day on Sunday.
However, if we do get a blanket this weekend and into next week, it is unlikely to stick around, with daytime temperatures maintaining highs above zero.
The weather agency says a low pressure system is heading into parts of southern Ontario and may bring two to 10 cm of snowfall on Sunday. Precipitation on Friday will fall as rain or drizzle; Sunday, as snow; and a chance of more Monday and Tuesday, as flurries or rain showers.
The snowfall amounts may change, adds the weather forecaster, but residents are warned to expect difficult winter driving
