ASHEVILLE - The city is inviting the public to learn more and provide feedback regarding the design of a new Oakley Public Safety Complex, which will include a fire station and police resource center.
The city of Asheville has kicked off the internal design phase for a new 2.5-bay fire station at 711 Fairview Road — site of Asheville Police Department’s Oakley Resource Center — Capital Management Director Walter Ear told City Council on Oct. 28. The project is intended to upgrade the public safety facilities to modern standards.
