MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) arrested a 78-year-old daycare owner in Baldwin County on child molestation charges, according to a release.

The release said Irvin Griffin, 78, was recently arrested after the Milledgeville Police Department asked the GBI to investigate a local daycare.

The GBI release said that Griffin and his wife run the Griffin Group Home Daycare, an in-home daycare in Milledgeville. The release said that the police department asked the GBI to investigate on Wednesday.

The GBI said that the investigation is both active and ongoing. It asked that anyone with further information can call the Regional Investigative Office in Milledgeville at 478-445-4173 .
