ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) — The former Peanut Bar in Elmira is set to be a third location for a local business that already operates in Painted Post and Horseheads, according to the Elmira City Planning Commission meeting minutes.

The former Peanut Bar site, located at 321 Madison Ave in Elmira, is owned by the Last Stand Coffee & Ice Cream shop business owners. The owners were given approval by the city's planning commission on Thursday, Nov. 6, to turn the building into a third location, with a drive-through, according to the city planning board’s meeting minutes.

More specifically, the owners said they plan to move the building slightly toward East Second Street to make the drive-through more accessible, according to the city planning commission’s meeting minutes.
