CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Guardians star Jose Ramirez is once again an American League Silver Slugger at third base, MLB announced Friday.
Silver Slugger awards are given to the best offensive player at each position in each league, and it’s voted on by coaches and managers.
Ramίrez, 33, batted .283 (168-for-593) with 34 doubles, 3 triples, 30 home runs, 85 RBI, 103 runs scored and a career-high 44 stolen bases.
He earned his seventh AL All-Star nod in July, which are tied for second-most in club history behind Bob Feller (8).
