CLEVELAND, Ohio — Guardians third baseman José Ramírez came out on top in a competitive field to win the sixth Silver Slugger award in his career on Friday night.

Ramírez won the award, symbolic of the top hitting third baseman in the American League, over Boston’s Alex Bregman and Tampa Bay’s Junior Caminero.

The switch-hitting Ramírez has now won the Silver Slugger in 2017, 2018, 2020, 2022, 2024 and 2025. Ramírez received a $50,000 bonus for winning the award.
