GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Travelers like Sarah Tyler, flying to Seattle from Grand Rapids, and through Chicago along the way, are checking their flight updates a lot more starting Friday.

"My fingers are crossed," Tyler said with a chuckle.

13 ON YOUR SIDE spoke with Tyler just ahead of her flight out of Gerald R. Ford International Airport.

"I've been stuck [in Chicago] many times," she said. "So, I hope, I hope things move smoothly, and we'll see what happens."

While Tyler said her flight was expected to be on time, many others may be feeling a little more flight frustration.
